Arianne Walker is the chief evangelist for Alexa Auto at Amazon, where she helps educate automakers and device makers about voice.   Prior to that, she was head of automotive industry strategy at Oracle Data Cloud where she helped automotive marketers discover and implement the best possible audience strategies for their marketing efforts.  Her automotive background began at JD Power, where she spent a dozen years providing direction on automotive marketing industry trends.  Before getting into the automotive space, she did research for colleges and universities to help support administrative planning and decision-making.  Arianne has a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and an MA and PhD in Higher Education and Organizational Change from UCLA.

Holger G. Weiss is co-founder and CEO of German Autolabs. He has over 15 years of experience managing and building technology-driven companies with innovative business models in the Future Mobility sector. He played a vital role in the navigation software startup gate5 in Berlin, from its genesis up to its acquisition by Nokia in 2006. Gate5 was the forerunner for HERE – a map and content provider recently bought by three German car makers at a price of close to three billion Euros.  

Before founding German Autolabs, Holger G. Weiss was managing director and CEO of Aupeo. Under his leadership, this music streaming startup developed into one of the leading providers of internet-based audio content for the Automotive Industry. In 2013 Aupeo was acquired by Panasonic Automotive Systems of North America.  

Holger G. Weiss is a board member of various technology companies and also Venture Partner at Target Partners – one of the leading VC companies in Europe. Besides his business activities, he is also an enthusiastic mentor and business angel for young aspiring founders. James Towle was appointed to New Business Models Director role at the start of 2019. James is responsible for the definition and go to market of new services, features and offerings that will enhance the customer ownership experience, whilst also delivering direct revenue into the business. This includes new connected customer offerings, including subscriptions and enhanced digital services, as well as electrification and mobility products. 

James has worked at Jaguar Land Rover for over 20 years and has held senior management positions in a number of areas of the business including Strategy, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Marketing and Programme Management. 

In 2013, James was appointed to his first executive role in the position of Global Business Director responsible for Range Rover projects. He then became International Projects Director covering Jaguar Land Rover’s expansion projects globally. 

James was appointed as Global Product Strategy Director in 2016 where he was responsible for the definition of JLR’s Product Strategy and the planning of programmes in early phases of delivery, while retaining global responsibilities as we expanded our business.  

Born in Nottingham in 1977, James is married with two children and now lives in Kenilworth, Warwickshire. He has a Manufacturing Engineering Degree from the University of Warwick and a scholarship Masters at the University of Birmingham.

Most recently, she was the Government Sales Manager with Merchants Fleet where her role focused on positioning the company as a leading fleet management services provider for federal, state, and local governments across the U.S. She worked with fleets of all sizes and complexities to provide unique solutions for budgetary and operational challenges, while maintaining compliance with ethics and procurement regulations.  Prior to her time at Merchants, Maria served as Director of Government Services at Admiral Leasing and Manager at Donlen Government Services, where she had full operational and strategic responsibility for the divisionHer career began in the alternative fuels and transportation safety sectors as a marketing and policy consultant for automobile manufacturers and the U.S. Department of Energy.   

Maria now focuses on sharing her expertise in fleet management and financing, RFP analysis and creation, alternative fuels and emerging technologies, and vendor relations with Mercury’s clients. Tony joined Visa’s Product Organization in 2018. His charter is to enable payments and facilitate commerce where the capability does not exist. This includes Connected Car, Home, Cities and Retail verticals. The responsibility extends to the collaboration with device manufacturers and ecosystem suppliers to enable secure and scalable payment experiences that are simple and easy to use which is critical for widespread adoption. These use cases leverage existing and emerging Visa products to enable the sending and receiving of payments from these devices. 

Prior to joining Visa, Tony worked at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles for 25 years in various product development roles, such as Chief Engineer for the Jeep Wrangler and Liaison Engineering Manager at Mitsubishi Motors in Okazaki, Japan
