Carl Bayliss joined Centrica in May 2019, to play a role in transforming the energy giant to one which leads on the electrification of mobility and democratisation of renewable energy through home energy management.

To date, this has led to the company formally establishing strategic partnerships with global automotive OEMs, the deployment of home energy solutions pilots & the development of an integrated platform addressing the convergence of electric vehicles and energy in the home.

Magnus is a member of the World Economic Forum Working Group on Urban and Autonomous Mobility and recently chaired the Marketing and Communication Committee of the 5G Automotive Association.

Magnus joined Ericsson in 2016 with 15+ years of experience from the Automotive Industry. Magnus is based at the Global HQ of Ericsson, in Kista the ‘mini Silicon Valley’ north of Stockholm.

Shyam Sundar’s career spans from smart mobile devices to smart mobility. He started his career as a software engineer at Qualcomm Inc. in San Diego where he led several Snapdragon chipset software projects that launched hundreds of millions of Android smart devices. He also led an entrepreneurial team that brought Snapdragon chipsets and Android into Automotive Infotainment, kickstarting the era of transforming vehicles into smart devices on wheels. Shyam also led early stage autonomous driving projects at NVIDIA. Currently, Shyam leads Product Management & Business Development for Infotainment, Autonomous Driving and Intelligent Vehicle technologies at Faraday Future, an EV automaker based in Los Angeles. Shyam has an MBA from UCLA Anderson and a Masters in Computer Science from Wayne State University, Detroit. When he is not working on technology, Shyam loves travel and photography.

Lynn Blake is Vice President of Mobility at PSA North America, Inc. Groupe PSA is the global automotive company which produces Peugeot, Citroen, DS, Opel and Vauxhall automobiles and the global mobility services brand Free2Move. In this role she is responsible for leading the strategic development of the Free2Move mobility brand and services within the North American market, including the oversight and execution of mobility operations in areas such as P&L management, strategic acquisitions, business case development and marketing communications. In April 2016, PSA announced the global Push to Pass plan of which re-entry into North America is a key element.

Prior to joining Groupe PSA in September 2017, Blake was the Director of Business Transformation at Nissan North America, where she led a team of project managers on initiatives to drive organizational change, competitive business practices and value creation.

Throughout her tenure at Nissan, Blake worked within various sales, marketing and communications roles, being responsible for brand strategy, model positioning, advertising and media. In turn, she was named Chief of Staff for Nissan’s Chairman of the Americas and managed all aspects of the Americas Management Committee office.

She worked in the Program Management office for Nissan’s partner Renault, directing the ‘Fluence’ Electric Vehicle team to secure profitability and market presence. She also led a 20 member cross-functional team to challenge line functions and develop proposals to improve employee morale and engagement throughout North America.

Blake’s experience spans more than 20 years in the automotive industry including OEM program/project management, governance, marketing and sales across global, regional and national markets, as well as dealership operations.

Blake completed the Strategic Marketing Management Program at Stanford University and holds a Master of Business Administration from Rutgers.

Prior to joining Karma, Gudmundsson served as Senior Principal/Director, Global Automotive Market Development and Product Strategy at u-blox, a creator of wireless semiconductors and modules, where he brought strategic innovation to its product lines, Director of Technology & Operations at Hyundai AutoEver Telematics America, Project Management at Volvo’s WirelessCar, and Vice President, Technology at DRI Corporation.

Gudmundsson earned a Master of Science in Computer Science & Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. He is also a frequent connected car, telematics and M2M global speaker and writer, and holds multiple international patents in telematics.

As President of Transmission Systems & E-Mobility, Patrick M. Lindemann is responsible for the development and manufacturing of transmission systems and electric drives in North America. Patrick started his career with Schaeffler over 24 years ago as a design engineer focusing on dual mass flywheels. Since then, he has worked in a variety of roles leading Schaeffler’s research and development efforts on clutches and torque converters. Prior to his current position, Patrick served as Vice-President of Transmission Systems & Hybrid Drives. Patrick has 82 Patents and holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Siegen in Germany.
